Meet the Masters Training will also be held on Tuesday, December 17th. Those interested in helping in the classroom with the art projects are invited to meet in the Naples library after school at 2:10 p.m. for a one-hour session in preparation for classroom lesson.

VIP volunteers are need for the Meet the Masters program! Please contact your room Parent to sign up.
The Meet the Masters art experience begins with a multi-media assembly using engaging Powerpoint slides, artist voices and music where the children learn about the fascinating lives and famous works of the Master Artists. Interactive questions and multi-media content captivate the students while walking through a virtual museum filled with interesting stories and facts.
Once children have a true connection to the artist, it is time to introduce the techniques which made the art revolutionary. Back in the classroom, they work on a mostly self-guided technique packets which will be the pencil-on-paper means for students to learn from the Masters. The worksheets reinforce the material previously presented in Introducing the Masters, and further prepares them for success in the final step—the art project.
After learning the inspiration and techniques of each Master, children are ready for the real fun. Classrooms are transformed into art studios as well-equipped teachers lead students on a step-by-step journey through the art project. Often in the same medium, style or subject matter as the Master, students discover their creativity while developing confidence in their own unique abilities.
