We will begin our ride from the front of Naples School at 3:00 p.m.. The vehicle parade will cruise through the Naples School attendance areas beginning with the Peninsula, continuing through the southeast section of Belmont Shore, the north side of Naples Island, followed by the south side of the island.     4th Grade Walk Through California
      A Walk Through is an engaging and interactive educational presentation of standards-based history curriculum through literacy and the arts. Many consider the 2 ½ hour experience to be an unforgettable “in-school field trip.” The program is facilitated by an animated and trained presenter whom guides up to 36 students through historical events using dynamic, kid-friendly stories and activities.     Jog-A-Thon: Naples Bayside Academy 2021 Jog-A-Thon is this Friday! Here are the final details! Are you ready? Do you know where to be to cheer on your Dolphin? Cheering section will be along the fence on Venetia Drive.     LB State Dirtbags game – May each year Come out to the Ballpark and support our local college baseball team! Naples Day at the Dirtbags game! Tickets are only $5.00 each! Each year we try and select a game where the kids all receive a free souvenir.  Flyers/ticket order forms will be sent home with your child in late April/early May – keep an eye out for this sun family event.

Label each picture with Classroom/Teacher/Student’s Name/Event In order for the pictures to be considered for the yearbook, the above information is required.     Across the country parents and educators applaud the lifelong benefits of Science Fairs: Critical Thinking, Analysis, Project Management, Writing, Storyboarding, Creative Expression and Oral Presentation. Of course we set the expectations appropriately for each child’s level, and help them hone their skills year by year. All students (K-5) are invited to sign up for Naples 2020 Science Fair (qualifying projects will be invited to LBUSD’s District Fair in May).     Read Across America Day
    March 6, 2019. Each year Naples Elementary celebrates the birthday of Dr Seuess with Read Across America Day.   A theme based on one of Dr Seuess’ books is chosen each year, and the school is decorated with that theme for the week.   The kids spend time all week long learning about Dr Seuess and the book chosen.     Get ready Naples Dolphins for the 2020 Naples Talent Show!! This year the Talent show will be held on Friday, February 28th at 6pm in the Auditorium for families and students.  Any act will need to bring their music with them to the tryouts.  All acts need to provide their own music and props.  A piano, sound system and 3 microphones are available for any act to use.     Book Fair
    Mark your calendars for this year’s book fairs.  Scholastic books will be at Naples in the Fall November 4 through November 8 and in the Spring April 6 through April 9. Book Fairs take place in the library before school from 7:30-8:00 and after school from 1:00-3:00. The book fair is a fun event and a great way to get involved with minimal commitment.  Signing up for just one shift makes a big difference in the success of the event. We need volunteers to help!
