The Naples staff Parade and student celebration will take place on Friday, May 15, 2020. We will begin our ride from the front of Naples School at 3:00 p.m.. The vehicle parade will cruise
through the Naples School attendance areas beginning with the Peninsula, continuing through the southeast section of Belmont Shore, the north side of Naples Island, followed by the south

A walk through is an engaging and interactive educational presentation of standards-based history curriculum through literacy and the arts. Many consider the 2 ½ hour experience to be an unforgettable “in-school field trip.” The program is facilitated by an animated and trained presenter whom guides up to 36 students through historical events using dynamic, kid-friendly stories and activities. Outside vendor is brought in and the 5th graders spend the morning walking through the American revolution in a game like setting. Silent Auction
Each year the PTA puts on an annual Fundraiser. This year’s event will be on Friday November 15th. Traditionally held in the evening and includs a themed party, dinner, dancing, fun and a live auction and a silent auction. Everyone is invited to purchase tickets and join in the fun. The teachers and administration will be in attendance.
The committee is always looking for and collecting swag bag worthy items for live auction and silent auction. The committee also needs any kind of baskets to present auction items in. Save your baskets!! Buy tickets here!

Jog-A-Thon:
Jog-A-Thon packets have been sent home with easy instructions on how to set up Pledgestar, a fundraising website that allows students to send emails to family and friends to receive pledges electronically! Set up your Pledgestar now at Naples Pledgestar!

May 26 – 29, 2020. Each year a fun-filled week for our teachers and staff is planned. We accept donations for our amazing teachers and staff raffle, if anyone has anything to donate!! As always, students and parents are encouraged to add their own special touch in appreciating our teachers.
School wide events each year include, Wednesday “Bring a flower to your Teacher Day” and other special days.
Each grade will be asked to provide breakfast or lunch for the teachers and staff one day of the week.

LB State Dirtbags game – May each year
Come out to the Ballpark and support our local college baseball team! Naples Day at the Dirtbags game! Tickets are only $5.00 each! Each year we try and select a game where the kids all receive a free souvenir. Flyers/ticket order forms will be sent home with your child in late April/early May – keep an eye out for this sun family event.

Across the country parents and educators applaud the lifelong benefits of Science Fairs: Critical Thinking, Analysis, Project Management, Writing, Storyboarding, Creative Expression and Oral Presentation. Of course we set the expectations appropriately for each child’s level, and help them hone their skills year by year.
